General Business Terms and Conditions:
Your data will be used exclusively for the processing of your courses and bookings as well as for bike and equipment bookings. Data processing is only required to fulfill the contract and will only be used in case of a legal obligation of the legislator (e.g. witnesses) for processing. We do not send any newsletters!
1. Reservations
Both written and verbal reservations are accepted. As the number of participants for most services is limited, it is advisable to book/register early. Elements Outdoor Sports is committed to provide the specific activity chosen from those on offer. They do however reserve the right to make program changes if this is necessary for safety reasons. The participant undertakes to pay the agreed price and to meet the payment arrangements.
2. Terms of Payment
The applicable costs relating to the course are to be paid in cash or with CC before commencement of the course. Under certain circumstances, e.g. in the case of group bookings, invoicing arrangements can be made. Valid vouchers can redeemed locally (a reservation is necessary!).
3. Cancellation Policy
In the case of 'no-shows' where the reservation has not been cancelled, the full amount will be invoiced. Otherwise, the following cancellation fees apply:
Group lessons and private lessons: 10 - 1 day (s) prior to the conference 50%. Same day 100%.
Camps, team trainings and group events: 1 month – 1 week before the event 50%. 6 days - the same day 100%.
4. Insurance
Insurance is not included in the price. We recommend that participants ensure that their own personal accident, health, and other insurance policies are valid for Austria. (Foreign health insurance policy)
5. Implementation
Elements Outdoorsports is committed to provide the participant with the agreed services. They reserve the right to make changes for safety reasons.
6. Conditions of Participation
The minimum age of participation is dependent on the course selected.
7. Increased risk of accidents
Mountain Biking, Freeride, Downhill and similar sports are associated with an increased risk of accidents. It is therefore imperative that all participants behave in a responsible and a sensible way as regards their own personal safety and that of other participants. It is compulsory to wear a safety-certified helmet on all bike tours. Protective gear is mandatory for all riding technique training courses. Helmet and protective gear is also mandatory in the Bike Park. We strongly recommend that all participants wear appropriate protective clothing, including gloves and goggles at all times. Participation on any of the courses is the sole responsibility of the participant and is at your own risk!
8. Disclaimer
Elements Outdoorsports is not liable for damage caused by circumstances beyond their control, force majeure or events that, despite all due diligence are not predictable or preventable. Excluded is damage caused to persons or property due to defective bikes or equipment
9. Medical information
All participants are required to notify the guide/coach of any allergies or other health-related information that may affect participation. (e.g. taking medication which may have side effects which cause lack of concentration, dizziness, etc.)
10. Videos and pictures
In our courses, camps and tours we take pictures and make Go Pro Videos. These are for video analyses and for our clients. The best pictures and films will be published on the Bike Park Leogang Facebook Page or on one of the Elements Outdoorsports sites. So that there can be no misunderstanding, we would be grateful if you will please let us know if you are not happy for photos of you and/or your family and friends to be published on our sites.
